About Cafe Vienna
Welcome to Café Vienna!
Opening ‘Café Vienna’ was my dream for many years.
Being born and having grown up in Vienna, even after so many years abroad, I still have such strong memories of those Austrian delicacies, that I can almost still taste them in my mouth.
Now after several years, my dream finally became reality.
Together with my wife Roberta and Rudi, an Austrian genius ‘Zuckerbäcker’, we are ready to invite you to Café Vienna in heart of London, at 235 Brompton Road, London SW3 2EP.
Come and taste the wonderful selection of cakes, from Sacher Torte to Apple Strudel, Malakoff Torte to Mohnstrudel and many more, with a cup of coffee in a relaxed ambiance and discover the typical Viennese Coffee culture.
The first Coffee Shops in Europe where created in Vienna in 1680. Retreating from the battle of Vienna, the Turkish troops left some bags of coffee beans behind. The Austrians discovered the new beverage and later developed it into a new blend. To this date, the Coffee Culture is a key of the urban Austrian way of life.
In addition to our Coffee and Pastry selection, we offer a wide range of savouries from the original Wiener Würstl, Gulaschsuppe and Gulasch with Spätzle, Wiener Chicken Schnitzel, Austrian charcuterie “Brettljause” , all kinds of Salads with typical Austrian dressing and a wide range of Austrian-style Breads and Pretzels.
We at Café Vienna would be happy to arrange a bespoke selection of beautifully presented Austrian canapés and Aufschnitte (cold cuts) for a variety of occasions, ranging from business meetings, product launches to family celebrations. Our “help-yourself” type of catering is a very convenient option, which offers mouth-watering taste and presentation. It is perfect if you are looking for something different to the usual sandwiches.
Our speciality obviously lies in our Cakes from our own in-house ‘Zuckerbäcker’.
You can order your Sacher Torte (three sizes available) or any of our cakes with a minimum of 24-hours notice. We are happy to accommodate bespoke orders – please allow a little more time.
